My name is Saket Gollapudi. I am a master's student majoring in computer science and engineering at the University of Washington-Seattle. Currently I am a research assistant working under Prof. Sewoong Oh and a teaching assistant for the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering. My intrests center around the development and applications of Machine Learning and AI in robotics and aerospace.
My full-time job is rooting for the Seahawks, watching/playing sports (football, basketball, cricket), singing, and sleeping.
A Created an autonomous robot with ROS2, React, and Python to assist high-risk pregnancy individuals by picking up items and tidying spaces, using camera and LiDAR for navigation.
Research investigating per-sample clipping effects in zeroth-order optimization for efficient LLM fine-tuning. Accepted to ICML HiLD Workshop 2026
Developed backend for a Chrome extension that extracts webpage data to create Apple/Google Calendar schedules for UW students. Collaborated in a group/scrum setting, utilizing JavaScript for development.
